Wisdom of Dis-ease 12: Message of Fever疾病的智慧：系列 12 – 发烧的启示

2 weeks ago, after enjoying two slices of banana fritters, I immediately felt unwell and energy started to dwindle. I went straight home and headed to bed. When I woke up, I was down with fever and cough. I was totally drained, bed-ridden and appetite was totally lost. I walked like an old lady and stood like a bow. I was practically half dead.

On the second day of sickness, I drew a Celestial Tarot to see what the message was. I drew an “Emperor” which corresponds with Aries. Upon contemplation of the message, I realized that I was active all through my life. I hardly take rest and everyday on the move. What have I done to myself, toiling this body throughout my life. I am not machine.

I went through the next four days in hell though condition started to improve on the 3rd day. During the four days, I prescribed for myself but none of my prescription helped. This testified that it is not easy for me to self-prescribe during the time when my mind was dull, blurry and sleepy.

So, I decided to take good heed of my body. Time to slow down and do nothing! The moment I thought of doing something, I reminded myself, “Hey, take rest!”. I just slept, watched TV and slowly picked up my appetite bit by bit.

On the fifth day morning, I asked myself, “What is happening to you? You have been sick for four days and how long are you going to stay like this?” I drew another Celestial card which showed the Sun! I decided to reassess my condition and finally prescribed myself Arsenicum album. Bingo! This was the right medicine! Condition started to turn around immediately and there was life again. Fever broke and I was up and about very quickly. One important clue to this prescription is “Cannot rest when things are not proper in place”!

Upon reflection, I have been on my feet all through my life. I work hard and always on the move. Life is full of activities. During this illness, the Celestial Tarot helped me to identify what it was linked to. “Emperor” is the supreme ruler who possesses the Arian attitude of courage and action. I come, I see and I conquer! Incidentally, I have been watching the movie series on the Chinese Emperor, Shi Huang Di. This attitude of mine is exactly like his. Wow, embedded deep inside me is this attitude which finally presented itself through the illness!

Every time when I am sick, I would reflect and contemplate on it as everything happens for a reason. This time, I chose the Celestial Tarot to help me and I am certainly thankful as it helped me see the shadow side of me with ease.

两个星期前，享受完了香喷喷的炸香蕉后，我马上感觉不适，身体的能量下滑。回到家马上上床睡觉。醒来时，发现已发烧与咳嗽。身体乏力、胃口全无，只能乖乖的躺在床上，什么都不能做。我行如翁，坐如弓，快半死了！

在第二天，我灵机一动，随意抽了张天界塔罗卡(Celestial Tarot)，看看这次病会与什么有关，我竟然抽到“国王“，它所代表的星座是牡羊。反省与深思之下，我发现我的生命一直处在超级活跃的状态。整天马不停蹄的生活，很少给自己休息的空间。我竟然“糟蹋”了自己的身体！我不是机器呀！

当时，我决定听从身体的指示，放慢脚步，什么都不做！当心中很想做什么的时候，马上提醒自己，“嗨，休息咯！”那几天就只是睡觉和看电视节目。慢慢的，胃口也逐步的恢复。

一连4天，如处在地狱，虽然情况慢慢的在第三天好转，但是总觉得还没“回阳”。在这四天内，自己为自己开的药竟然无效。这很明显的显示不容易治疗自己，尤其是处在蒙查查的时候。

第五天，我问自己，“你到底怎么了？病了四天，到底还要这么样几天呢？我再抽张天界塔罗卡，竟然抽到太阳！我决定重新诊断自己的病况，结果开了顺势药物Arsenicum album. Bingo！开对药了！马上体会到体力恢复，生命回来了！烧很快就退，感觉舒服多了。Arsenicum album 的其中一个特征是，”事情没办妥，就不能休息“。准！

回顾过去，我整天忙碌，勤劳苦干，马不停蹄。这次的病，天界塔罗卡(Celestial Tarot)帮助我找出病的来龙去脉。国王是世尊，拥有牡羊的勇气和活力。我来、我见、我占领。刚巧我正观看电台播放的秦始皇系列。我的心态正如他。哇，潜伏在我内心底端，竟然在这场病中勾了出来，妙极了！

每一次我生病的时候，我都会反省与反思病中的讯息。这次，我选择了运用天界塔罗卡的智慧，轻易的辅助我揭发内心深处的阴影。
