Wisdom of Dis-ease 6: Message of a Sleepless Baby 疾病的智慧：系列 6 – 不能安眠的婴儿的启示

A baby boy of 7 weeks was brought to me by the mother for problem of irritability and unable to sleep well since second week of life. Child would cry suddenly and could be pacified by a pacifier. Legs were drawn up and was better when the mother hugged him firmly. Child was breast-feeding.

This happened usually at night and baby desired to be carried and moved about gently. Sometimes, he could cry hysterically and he is easily startled. One observation was that the baby slept with a fist on right cheek.

It took me full 20 minutes to probe into what had happened during pregnancy. Mother then recalled that she was badly hurt in her feelings and the anger was unresolved.

With this information, I prescribed the Homeopathic remedy called Colocynthis which worked wonderfully. Before that, the mother self-prescribed two other Homeopathic remedies which did not helped. Baby was able to sleep in peace and no more fist on cheek.

Pregnancy is a very important period of nurturance for the baby in the womb. He is very sensitive to what the mother is feeling or experiencing. Any upset on the mother is going to imprint on the baby like a sponge.

Hence, for this case, mother’s unresolved anger had caused a child to react badly. Mother could have forgotten the incident but the baby didn’t!

我以20分钟的时间寻问到，原来在怀胎时，妈妈的情绪受到很严重的创伤，至今怒气未消。因此元素，我开了一个顺势医疗药物 Colocynthis给妈妈服用（孩子不用另外服用药物）， 果然药到病除。在此之前，妈妈自己开过2种顺势疗法药物都无效。对症下药之后，婴孩就能安眠，拳头也松了！

怀孕期间是很重要的滋养期，胎儿对妈妈的感受和经历很敏感，他们会如海绵般的全盘吸收妈妈的情绪、感受和不安。众可皆知，母乳是最健康的，怎么这孩子会有这么激烈的问题呢？原来当妈妈的情绪失控或起伏不定时，母乳是有毒性的！

这个案显示妈妈之不能处理愤怒的情绪，而造成婴儿掀起了负面反应。妈妈可能忘记此事，但是婴儿却不！
