Wisdom of Astrology 3: Searching for a Job 占星的智慧 3 ： 占星与事业

Early this year, my daughter mentioned her dissatisfaction in her job. She later developed some symptoms which I was very sure due to the unhappiness at her work. Though I was treating her sickness, I found that the treatment was not too satisfactory. I recommended that she quit her job as soon as possible.

Of course, she quit finally, even though she had not find another job. It was like liberation for her. A month later, she called to ask me what and where she could apply for a job. I checked the Astrology chart of that moment which is called horary in Astrology. It is a branch of Astrology where we could utilize to get answers for a question asked.

The obvious feature that caught my attention on this chart was that Pluto in Capricorn in 9th house trine(120⁰) to Moon in Virgo in 5th house. Bingo!

Pluto is the highest point of the chart which is a very important feature in chart reading. Pluto represents research. Capricorn represents work and career. Moon is our emotional security and attachment and Virgo represents work and skill. The blue line connecting these 2 planets is called trine which is a comfortable aspect (line linking 2 planets). 9th house is the house of higher learning and 5th house is about self-identity and self-creativity.

I recommended that she apply for a research job at Hong Kong University since she is the graduate there. She heeded my advice and sure enough, she got the job! She just reported to work and is very happy to start a new chapter with her current job.

今年头，小女对她的工作感到厌倦与不满，导致她的身体出了一些状况。虽然我有给与治疗，但是如果她继续的留在这工作，治疗效果不会很好。我提议她辞掉此工作，另请高就。

虽然她还没找到另个工作，她却在适当的时候辞掉这使她烦恼的工作，犹如重获自由的感觉。

一个月之后，她向我寻问事业的去向，要找什么样的工作。我打开当下的星盘以做卜卦作用。卜卦是占星学里的其中一个作用，运用来寻求某某答案。

一个很明显的迹象是冥王星入摩羯在9宫，与5宫的月亮入处女三分相，妙极了！

冥王星占此盘至高之处，这是很重要的迹象。从事业的角度，它代表研究工作。摩羯也同时代表工作与事业。月亮是我们的情绪安全感与依附，处女则代表工作与技术。那连接两个行星的蓝线是三分相，是柔和相位，表示事情比较容易达成，阻力不大。9宫代表高等学府，5宫则代表自我身份认同与自我创意的展现。

我提议她在她的母校香港大学去申请研究工作。她听取了我们意见，越两个月后，果然心想事成！当下她刚刚到新的工作岗位报到，开开心心的开始一个不同的工作生涯。
