My daughter who is now 24 and is a graduate of Hong Kong University with a degree in Psychology. While she was studying for her A-Level, she was undecisive as to what she wanted to study further. One thing was for sure, she insisted that she would not do accounting as suggested by my husband. She asked for my advice and of course I resorted to reading her astrology chart.

I immediately searched for where her North Node is. Her North Node is in Sagittarius in her first house. Sagittarius is a fire sign. Its symbol is which is like an arrow, pointing far and beyond, disregarding how it lands. This is the spirit of quest and exploration beyond the known in order to search for one’s vision and belief. 1st house in the horoscope chart represents self, personality and how we portray ourselves in the world or how we see the world.

I told her if she wanted to succeed in her life, all she needed to do was firstly, knew what she wanted to do. Since she insisted that she didn’t want to do accounting, she ought to know what other option was in her mind. Secondly, she ought to stand on her own two feet, making her own decision and not swayed by her father’s wish. Her South Node is in Gemini in 7th House which suggests that she might get easily swayed by others’ suggestion in order to please others.

Finally, she chose Psychology which collaborated well with her chart. She studied very hard for her A-Level as shown by Moon in Capricorn in 3rd house. Capricorn is determination, ambitious, strategist though there is also some fear of failure lurking underneath. She excelled in A-Level and finally was offered a place in Hong Kong University and achieved what she aspired to do.

最后，她选择了心理学。她很努力的考读A-Level，成绩优越而考取香港大学。她星盘的月亮入摩羯在三宫，摩羯代表毅力、雄心勃勃、有策略的行事，虽然内心是有些的恐惧。带着她具有的心态，最后圆了她的梦！
