Wisdom of Astrology 10 – Vocation占星的智慧10 – 志业

On 5th July 2018 at 3pm, my Astrology mentor, Brian Clark, pronounced that I have completed all the requirements for the Diploma in Astrology at 3pm and he is going to present me with the certificate in person in Nov when he comes for the Celestial Tarot and Astrology workshop. Wow, I have done it! I have finally completed the correspondence course after 4 years of diligence and perseverance! According to him, I am about the 35th person to reach to the Diploma level as many did not pursue to this level. Certainly, this a great honour to me!
4 years ago, when transit Jupiter crossed by Ascendant (see chart. 1), I signed up the course without any hesitation and I see the fruit today. Brian, with his 30 years of astrology experience, has helped me in different ways, high-lighting the importance of astrology from the basic knowledge to chart consultation. His tips are very succinct and to the point. He thought me how to focus with the information in the chart.
Many envy me for being successful in life as a doctor. The clue I get from the natal chart is the 10th house of vocation. Vocation is defined as one’s own calling to do something of meaning in one’s life. It is not necessarily the career or profession but something that one does to feel fulfilled, satisfied and whole.
My 10th house cusp, the Midheaven (MC), is Aries. I just know what I want to do in my vocation from young. I seem to know my potential and work towards it. Truly, when one knows what he or she wants in the vocation, there is no obstacle along the way. Aries is often the pioneer, action-oriented, forthright. On the other hand, there may be hurry, head-strong, competitive and over-zealous intent.
Ruler of MC is Mars, conjunct the South Node of Aries in the 10th house. It looks like I was already an achiever in the past life (due to conjunction with South Node) and likely I did not get to achieve what I really wanted then, the intent was brought to this life to complete it! One thing is I am always ready to work hard to achieve. Since it is in the 10th house, it looks like I am very much wanting the society (the first society is home) to see my achievement.
Few years ago, I discovered that my intense desire to achieve was trying to get my father’s praise and attention. However, till he passed on, I had never got that. However, upon that discovery, I accepted the reality and realized I need to acknowledge and appreciate my own strength and ability. Whether there is praise and appreciation or not from outside, it is not important to me anymore.
I then cast a chart on the moment of the announcement of diploma(Fig. 2) and the MC is now Leo whose ruler Sun is in Cancer in 9th house. Wow, this achievement in astrology is a product of my hobby and own creativity to further enhance my hopes to care for others. Yes, I have been searching for tools where I could offer in my caring profession. This achievement gives me the confidence to explore further and deeper into my life as well as others. Of course, the North node and Mercury at MC enhance me to share my knowledge to the society. Well, Venus in 10th house has no major aspect. I self-admire my own creativity and achievement (Shiok sendiri)!
Life goes on. With this completion, I am embarking on another milestone to do Traditional Astrology. Again, another feature of Aries at MC-ahead of others!
Life becomes alive with Astrology!
7月5日的下午3点，我的占星老师 Brian Clark向我宣布我已很圆满的完成所有占星课的课业，而将在十一月来马授课时，颁发给我Diploma的奖状。哇，我做到了！我在4年里面，透过努力与坚持，终于完成这函授课程，好不容易呀！他说，我是第35位达到Diploma的学员，许多都只停留在certificate。听了，我觉得这是我生命的荣誉！
4年前，过运(transit)木星刚过我本命盘的上升点（看图一）我不经考虑就报名。今天，我终于看到成果了。Brian 本生具有30年的占星经验，他指引我许多，从基础知识到咨商，如何把握重点。他的教导很贴切与点中要点。
许多人羡慕我的成就,星盘里的线索代表志业的是第十宫。志业是个人内在的指使去做一些对自己生命有意义的事。它不一定是事业或职业，而是做一些让自己感觉满足与完美。
我的天顶（第十宫的宫头）星座是牡羊。从小我就知道自己要做的是什么，我也很清楚我的潜能而向着这方向进行。事实上，当一个人清楚知道自己的志业是什么时，路上是不会有障碍的。牡羊的特质是先锋、动力及勇往直前。同时，它也可能带有急性、直率、竞争性及过度热心。
我那天顶牡羊的主宰行星是火星，正和南交点牡羊合相在第十宫。看起来我过去世（因和南交点合相）曾是个很想成功的人。很可能我没达到我很想要的成功，那就在今世去达成。我想我的成就是我愿意努力去达成我所要的成就。因为是在第十宫，看来我渴望社会（我们第一个社会就在家）来认同与看重我的成就。
几年前，我发现我很渴望我的父亲的赞美和认同。然而，我始终得不到。一发现这“新大陆”之后，我坦然的接受这现实，确实让我知道我需要认同与欣赏自己的能力与实力。外在的认同与赞美已经不重要了！
这Diploma的宣布当下，我起了一个星盘（看图2），天顶星座是狮子，而狮子的主宰行星太阳入巨蟹位在9宫。我的嗜好竟然成为我的志业，以运用来照料他人。是的，我一直在寻找一些工具来辅助我的照料志业。这成就给了我更多的信心，来更深入的探索我自己与他人的人生意义。当然，北交点与火星在十宫头强调我把我的知识与社会分享。金星入狮子在十宫则没有重要相位，意味着自我欣赏我的创意与成就（自己爽）！
生命继续的前进。这一回的达成，我又开启另一个生命得旅程碑，再进修古典占卜占星。看起来，天顶的牡羊又再发动了！
生命因占星而活跃起来！
