Wisdom of Astrology 11 – Message of Abdominal Discomfort 占星的智慧11 – 肚子不舒服的启示

A lady of 39 years old came back for follow-up in her treatment after about a month of medicine. She complained that she has abdominal discomfort with the urge to pass motion but nothing could be passed. The feeling was that “it wants to come out but cannot”. When she explained her discomfort, she did not look distressed or worried but remained quite cheerful. I asked whether she had this symptom before and she admitted so. The intensity was not as bad as before.
From Homeopathic point of view, this indicates that she was undergoing recurrence of old symptoms which did not bother her as a person as she remain at peace. Out of curiosity, I plotted an astrology chart(called decumbiture chart)to see what I could learn from there.
In the chart, I looked at the Ascendant sign which represents her. The ruler of Asc is Mercury in Leo in 12th house suggesting a lion who wants to go out and play is now caged and confined. 6th house is the house of illness where there is retrograde Mars and South Node in Aquarius suggesting that she wanted to break free in the past. Thus, this is an old symptom. The traditional ruler of Aquarius is Saturn which is in 4th house of family and home.
She admitted that she wants to get out of the confine of the house but the responsibility towards the family is blocking her. She had the same feeling of wanting to get out of house while she was at 25-30 years old but was not allowed by her mother.
Here we see the words describing the symptoms match that of the happening in the family ie “I want to get out but cannot”! After we discussed the matter, she felt more at ease and could understand the whole scenario of her discomfort. She felt good and assured. Decumbiture is an astrology chart plotted when a person enquires about his illness.

星盘的上升点是处女代表这病患，处女的主宰行星水星入狮子在12宫,意味着一支很想出去玩的狮子被关在牢里了！6宫是疾病宫，那里有逆行的火星（想跑但跑不掉）合相南交点入宝瓶，意味着她在早期很想跑出去找朋友玩，但是被妈妈或家人阻挡了！看看星图中宝瓶的主宰行星土星处在代表家庭的4宫。
现在，她正想翘家，但是被对家的责任阻挡着。这感觉正是她在25至30岁时的感受！这个案形容她的症状和她的生活状况相似，那就是，“我要出去但是不行呀”！我们做了一番的切磋，她也能够了解整个病的来龙去脉，感觉更加的放心。
Decumbiture chart 是在询问病况时起的一个星盘，它是古典占星的其中一个技巧。
