When my daughter-in-law was pregnant with second child, I volunteered to help out in the confinement without much thought. My feeling inside was I wish to fulfil something that my mother-in-law had done for me during my confinement.
I then took a month off my clinic and went to play a totally different role all together. It was busy, busy time, day and night. We went through a period of neonatal jaundice which needed hospitalisation for phototherapy, daughter-in-law’s breast engorgement and elder grandson having measles. All these happenings kept me worried, anxious and busy.
Luckily, I needn’t have to cook as my understanding daughter-in-law engaged good home-delivered confinement food. Otherwise it would be a nightmare for me as my cooking is terribly lousy!
At the end of one month, though exhausted, I felt fulfilled. It is a process of paying my gratitude towards my mother-in-law forward.
After the busy time was over, I then checked my chart and this grandson’s chart. To my surprise, that there were many deep connections between us.
The essence of the connection is that he made me understand more about the meaning of life through enhancement of my personal value in relationship. He is also trying to make me more aware of my anxiety and perfectionism. In addition, I could have wounded him in the past life and now it is time for me to care for him when needed.

当我媳妇怀着第二胎时，我毫无考虑的为她陪月。虽然自己没有陪月的经验，毕竟曾经自己有三次的做月体验。内心有一股力量的推动，是很想完成我家婆在当年替我陪月的意愿。
我放假一个月，然后去展现另外一个角色。经历了没日没夜的忙碌；孙子黄疸素飙高，需要入院照电光。过后媳妇乳房肿胀与长孙得了麻疹，我经过了一段日子的焦虑和忙碌。
所幸媳妇也了解我，安排了个外送家庭式的做月餐。不然，以我这种水准的厨艺，我就糟糕咯！
满月后，虽然我感觉筋疲力倦、头发脱落及消瘦许多，但内心的满足感难于形容。这是一个能让我把我对家婆的恩传给我媳妇的良机。
当一切都过去之后，我就拿我和小孙子的本命盘来做合盘，原来我们俩有个相当深厚的缘分。
在我俩的缘分，他让我了解生命的意义，也让我体会在关系里，我对我自己的价值观。他也让我觉察我的焦虑和完美主义心态。在前世，我可能曾经伤过他，而今世在他需要的时候，我来照料他。
